Ken was already a well respected engineer when I joined the Aerospace Corporation at Vandenberg AFB CA in 1993. Like him I was a USAF retiree but we hadn't known either other while in uniform. It was quickly clear to me how knowledgeable and well-respected he was. Ken was a nice man who was willing to help the folks with administrative and security duties, even when others saw me as a hindrance to what they were trying to do.
