Mr. Stacker was a kind man. I remember my freshman year of college, having known me but a few months through church-- offered to give me a ride back to campus in Chicago with his son, whose school I also attended. He was so easy to talk to. An hour into the ride, I found myself telling him all my problems, and aspirations. Chewing his ear off no doubt, but he listened anyway.
