STARR, Kenneth F. Age 74, a lifelong Braintree resident, died unexpectedly, Monday, February 11, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital, after a long illness. Ken was a well-known self-employed stone cutter. He loved his job, was old school and a master at his craft. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard....

My memory of Mr. Starr was that he drove a red pickup truck with all of his stone cutting gear in back. When we were little he and Mrs. Starr allowed us to build a fort in their backyard but I am not certain if it ever got finished. Kevin Kenny & Debbie were very fortunate to have such a great dad. R.
