Not sure what to say?

Our family sends their love and condolences at this sad time. We wish to express our love and admiration for Uncle Ken and for the wonderful example that he was to all. The trips to the desert, the old cars and the cigars, are good memories. He will be missed. Our love to Aunt Jeanne and the family.

I was very sad to read of Ken's passing I worked for Ken in 1964. He was a hard working salesman who never quit. He encouraged me to go to sales school and told me "that if you don't try you won't succeed" he always had a motivating saying. As I think back to the people that influenced my career he has to be at the top of the list.I alway knew that he believed in me. My thoughts go to all the family and may he truly rest in peace.

Our condolences to your family on the passing of Kenneth. I happened to notice the article in yesterday's Oregonian. What stood out was that Kenneth was born and raised in Moline, Illinois. My mom, Marion Johnson (who passed away July 8, 2009), was also raised in Moline and graduated in the same Class of 1941 as your Kenneth. I was sad to here of Ken's passing. It brought back alot of memories of the families getting together during the summers. Kenny driving down in his big
new Cadillic and the kids telling us all about the trip and how he always read a book while driving down. The poker games around Grandpa's and Grandma's big oak table. It was a great time to be alive. He will always be remembered. All our prayers go out to Aunt Jean and all the kids.

I just talked to my brother Steve Lafleur. Some of the things we remember about Uncle Kenny was his love of a good cigar, he always had a new Cadillac and riding in all of those old cars on the runs during the weekends. We used to go up to Portland for a couple of months during the sumer time and go camping. We would go water-skiing on the Columbia and ride those little Honda 50's around the camp. We would go down to Union supply with him and my cousins and look at all the conveyor belts....
