Ken was my husbands brother. I often regret that we didn't love closer. He was a awesome son, brother, husband and father and grandfather. I know he will be missed by many.

I was a student of Ken Tye's while in the master's program at UCLA in 1976. I thought he was brilliant. I am pleased to see he had a good long life.
