Not sure what to say?

Our hearts will always be filled with gratitude to our Lord for the time Ken spent at Christ Community Church in East Islip.

I knew Ken from seminary. He was a humble sort who merely embodied justice, mercy, and compassion. He is the kind of man that made Jesus smile. Always. Though his candle was not the one always noticed, it never burnt out or lost its glow. Bill Lenters

We praise God for the many years that Ken served faithfully at Christ Community Church in East Islip. Ken brought Jesus with him wherever he went and many lives were touched for Christ during his ministry here. We will always remember him as a most humble servant of the Lord, a greatly musical man and the most caring human being. We love him!

Our prayers for the family of Ken and Kathy Verhulst. Lynn and I have precious memories of time
spent with Ken and Kathy at our many shared Home Missions conferences. We shared laughter and tears. It was also a blessing to have Ken serve as a pastor at East Islip where we had also served.
As a pastor Ken has left a legacy of love and faithfulness as an inspiration for the family and all of us who knew him.

What a beautiful servant of Jesus Christ. Thank you Ken for your loving ministry and many good memories. Peace to the family.

Ken was an inspiration to Sherman street church's social justice ministry. He cared deeply about what Jesus wants us to care about. I loved his spirit and his commitment. We need many more people like you, Ken! RIP.

I wish to extend our sympathy to the Verhulst Family on behalf of the Harrisonburg Rockingham Free Clinic. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
