I´m sorry it has taken me so long to be able to write something here. Haines was the first one to talk to me when I got to 2/82. Instant friendship followed. Always the light of the room and a great ear to talk to. When 2/82 finally deployed to Iraq in 04 and we met up with them in the green zone he found me right away and had to brag about being able to hold my first son before I got to since we had deployed 7 months before they did.
