Not sure what to say?

Dr. Walgren was my only medical resource for many years. Dr. Walgren's humane kindness and efficient professionalism was
admirable. I have for decades admired him, and I will always be grateful to him.

A terrific man and Physician who will be missed by everyone who knew him or worked with him. I treasure getting to know him as a model for young physicians at St. Paul.

Best wishes to the beloved family.

Tommy Hyslop, MD

My prayers have included you and your children in hopes that your sadness will soon be replaced by the many wonderful memories you each accumulated when Kenneth, was healthy and vital. God be with all of you during this difficult time.

The Dallas County Medical Society, its Board of Directors, members and staff express to you our deepest sympathy in the recent loss of Dr. Kenneth Walgren.

To Ken's family-
As a resident in training under his guidance and then as a colleague working alongside Dr Walgren, we all knew we were blessed to be in his presence. He truly was a model of whom we all can and should be-a man who used his talents to serve-in work and family and life. Our world was a better place because he lived-thank you for sharing him with us, as I know he sacrificed family time for medicine, often. His life had great meaning and it was an honor to know him. Be...

Judy and family,
Your Dad was not only my doctor, but a confidante and advisor about life for a pivotal period in my life. All thanks to Judy for hauling me in to see him.

He leaves a remarkable legacy and touched many lives.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked at St. Paul Hospital 35 1/2 years as a registered nurse, and would often see Dr. Walgren doing his rounds. He was always ready with a friendly greeting and a smile for the staff, and stood straight-backed like an Air Force veteran, instead of a Navy man. He dressed sharply in a crisp white Lab coat. He had such an analytical mind, and was an asset to the patients he visited. I know he will be greatly missed by his many family and friends, but am sure he is equally welcomed by family...

Our deepest condolences to the family of this wonderful physician whom we had the pleasure to know when we had an office at St Paul's. Ken had an office next to ours and we shared some good times.

Ken has been my neighbor for 45 years. He has been a wonderful friend. We enjoyed sailing and golf together. He was an amazing Doctor. He diagnosed a mild symptom of angina in his front yard, which turned out to be a 99.5 % blockage in my coronary artery. I had a stent put in, which probably saved my life. We will miss him so much.
