Kenneth Ray Whitledge Sr. Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Whitledge Sr, age 71, of Portland Tennessee, Formally of Henderson Ky. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Hendersonville Medical Center in TN. He was preceded in death by a son Dennis Keith Whitledge, a grandson Joshua Whitledge. And his parents Verder and Clara Whitledge. 2 Brothers Sonny and Paul Noon and 2 sisters Nell Mitchell and Roma Kelly. He was currently employed at Peyton's Mid-South He was a US Army Veteran and was active in GWRRA , he was a past Monarch at No Ruz Grotto a avid UK fan and an avid motorcyclist. Military Rites will be performed by the American Legion Worsham Post #40. Survivors include: His wife: Nancy (Ganno) Whitledge of Portland TN. 4 Sons: Kenneth Ray Whitledge of Houston TX. Bobby Whitledge of Dixon KY. Greg and Jeff Hope of Henderson KY. 3 Daughters: Karen Cox and Donna Whitledge both of Henderson KY. And Jeana Gibson of Portland TN. 1 Brother: V.E. Buddy Whitledge Jr. of Henderson KY. 1 Sister: Dean Reid of Evansville IN. 15 Grandchildren 20 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson KY. Bros. Gary Ashby and Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, Henderson KY. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson KY.
