My thoughts have turned to you and your family. I know what a tough pill it is to swallow whenever your father is no longer there. I hope the love and friendship you recieve now will help it to pass.

What can a sister say about a big brother. He was fun. He was honest. He loved his family above all. He loved to fish and drive his boat. He loved the railroad and just plain loved trains. He loved to play his violin with his children on their own instruments. He named their band the "Butcher Band" because as he said, "they could butcher any song". :) He was full of stories. Always kidding and joking and laughing. He loved his tractor and farming. He loved his life and he lived it...

My deepest sympathy to your family at this sad time. Although I do not know your family personally, my husband thought very highly of Kenny. Their friendship continued over many years.. He enjoyed visiting in your home and the "jam sessions" and the popcorn shelling.
He had also been a long-time friend of Kenny's Dad. I am sure this is a big loss for your family.

I will never forget the help Kenny provided me while working for the railroad in Decatur. He was honest, fair and a good friend. My thoughts are with the family.
