Kenneth M. Wismer, Jr.
Kenneth M. Wismer, Jr., 70, of Springfield Twp. died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at St. Lukes, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann (Chasar) Wismer, who died July 21, 2003. Born in Easton on August 29, 1943 to the late Kenneth M. Wismer, Sr. and Edith (Mueller) Rodriguez, he served our country faithfully in the US Navy during Vietnam War. Kenneth was a salesman for Thompson Motors, Inc. Springtown for many years. Ken was an avid modified stock car racer at various tracks in the area and was a feature winner at Dorney Park and Nazareth Speedway. Survivors: Daughter, Wendy Wismer (Guy) Young of Wilson; siblings, Kim C. (Brian Hall) Rodriguez of Easton, Kerry (Timothy) Pontrelli of San Diego, CA, Chris W. (Jane) Wismer, June Wismer Jr., Gladys (Barry) Rodenbough, all of Easton; grandchildren, Zachary and Breanna; stepmother, June Wismer Sr. of Easton; nephews, Eric (Barbara) Wismer and Ryan Wismer. Predeceased by a son, Kenneth Mark Wismer, III, who died January 17, 2001. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 12 to 1 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by the service at 1 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
