Kenneth Wooddell

Ken Wooddell will forever be remembered in historical annals of sports in Mattoon , Illinois. He was a positive supporter of all the participants. Ken possessed a memory for individual and team performances. I had dinner with Ken only 4 years ago and he remembered the 1958 basketball team that bestowed the highest ranked team in Mattoon´s history. We got to know Ken through our 3 sons who were involved in sports at MHS. Then later when we would go to the Y. Loved listening to him announce games and also visiting with him at the Y. He was kind and friendly to all. Will miss him.
