Not sure what to say?

Just realized that our dear friend Martin passed away when our Christmas card to him c/o Thrive was returned. We came to know Martin and Putsie when my mother, Helen Moore, moved into Marsh's Edge in 2006. There was never a Southern gentleman more kind, considerate, learned,or brilliant than Martin. With all of his top-drawer degrees and achievements, he carried himself with great humility and an unquenchable desire to connect and understand.
Before we left Sea Island and moved to...

Martin was a dear and loyal friend of my father, Randolph W. Thrower. Not only did they work together in DC they shared a love of the law and a deep affection and respect for each other. Martin Worthy was a man of integrity , humor and generosity. My sympathies go to his family.

Martin was a great lawyer and an excellent chief counsel who set the stage for all the subsequent chief counsels.

N. Jerold Cohen

A superb lawyer, a superb mentor, and an even better friend. Martin Worthy was a gentleman of matchless integrity and good will, and so much fun to be with. Anne and I will miss him.
