Not sure what to say?

Mr. Wright was one of my favorite teachers in high school. He actually cared about his students and gave them all the attention they needed. I didn't like history until I was in his humanities class at Catalina. Rest in peace Mr. Wright.

Kim, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful teacher and a real mentor and friend to me long after high school. I was in his English class my sophomore year (1972-73) when my mom died, and he really supported me and was there for me. He also pushed me and challenged me as a student and as a fledgling human. And he always made me laugh! I lost touch with him years ago but since I recently moved back to Tucson I´d hoped to bump into him. I´m sad I won´t be able to see that big...

My sincerest condolences to your family in this time of loss and grief. Mr. Wright was one of a kind. He was sharp and firm yet kind and funny. He was one of the best English teachers a student could have because he pushed you to do your best and more. It was a blessing to have him as a teacher and mentor for the years that I was at Catalina. He was very passionate about his craft and about his students and their future success. He has touched countless lives in his time and will surely be...

I was a student athletic trainer at Catalina High. He was always kind.

Kim -- Please accept my deepest condolences for your Dad's passing. Ken was a few years ahead of me at Amphi HS. We were both instructors in the Army Reserves. I took his classes in Tucson & Ft Huachuca when he was activated during the 1st Iraq war. Several years later we met again at Catalina HS where I taught Math & coached football. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of my good friend & associate.

An amazing teacher!! Surely he was `One in 1 million´ dedicated to his students! To me, He brought English/humanities to life (and years later to a second generation, my kids)l! -we all gratefully benefited from his guidance!

I have great memories of Ken Wright as he was a friend of my father's from their time teaching at Catalina. He was always very nice to me, and I recall there being great conversation in the house when he would be there. I can remember his voice and how he would say my name. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Wright was a true influencer before that was even a thing. He was sharp-witted, polished, and aged to perfection. He didn´t just change my life, he changed me. I´m sure he will sharpen his pencil, and send this back to me corrected for grammar and punctuation, I never had him as an English teacher, so hopefully he will take this opportunity to finally provide me with a grade. My heart breaks for you Kim, please reach out, we will always be family.

Mr. Wright was my English teacher and I so enjoyed his class. He and Mr. K nurtured my love for writing and set me on the path to law school. I´m grateful to have had him as a teacher. My condolences to his family.
