Private graveside services are scheduled for Kennie "Louise" McBride, 94, of Tyler on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Lindale with Reverend David O'Neal officiating.  Services are under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit.  No visitation is scheduled for this service.  Louise passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Louise was born February 8, 1923, to the late George W. and Nora Kennie Jones in Golden, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Richard "Mac" McBride; brothers, Casey, Gerald, George, Jesse and Kennith Jones and granddaughter, Wendy Rolf.
Mac and Louise opened Mac's Gun Shop in downtown Tyler in May of 1947 and it is now being run the by their son and grandsons.
She is survived by three generations: daughter, Melanie Rolf and husband, David; son, Mark and wife, Rhonda; grandchildren: Julia Bammel and husband, Brian, Wes McBride and wife, Michelle, Matt McBride and wife, Melanie; great-grandchildren: Caden and Brooklyn McBride, Leyton, Evelyn, Catheryn and Isaac Bammel and numerous relatives.
Heartfelt thanks to her care givers at Garden Estates.

We were blessed to know and care for Ms. McBride for the last two years. She was a very kind lady and our staff loved her. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.
