Not sure what to say?

Dear Kenny, as you visited us in Tokyo more than 20 times, we, your Japanese family could also have a lot of wonderful memories of you. Thank you so much for sharing our joys and sorrows with us. The beautiful tune of the bamboo flute you play will sound in my heart forever, and I'll send much much love to Naomi, Key, Jennifer, Cheryl and all the members of your family in US.

I am so sorry about Kenny's sudden death and send my thoughts and prayers to Naomi, Key, Jennifer and Cheryl, who loved him very much. I loved hearing stories about Kenny over the years - a memorable, creative person - you will be greatly missed.

Dear Naomi and Key -- such a shock to get this news. May your memories of Kenny be full of light and laughter, and your hearts feel his presence and love

Kenny, you are missed in body, but your spirit stays with us -- I can see you standing in our kitchen, loving my lentil soup, telling great stories and showing all of us what it is to live 100% in your own way! We love you, Sarah, Stuart and family....

I was very saddened to learn of Kenny Higdon's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Powell's Books when Charles Frazier read from his new novel. I have, for some time, been a fan of his daughter, composer Jennifer Higdon, and had hoped to see her dad again in Santa Fe at the premiere of Jennifer's opera "Cold Mountain" in 2015. My sincere condolences to his wife and to all the family.

Naomi.....I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet Kenny. The few times I was around him, I sensed his positive energy and spirit for life. He was truly a gift to those he touched and the world is a better place because of his adventerous and loving spirit. Many lives were touched by his artistic talent. Naomi, something that always stood out to me when I had the good fortune of being in a social setting with you and Kenny was the way he inspired you to be the 'best Naomi you could be'...

All of us in Atlanta advertising back in the 1970s loved Kenny and his work. A terrific, wonderfully talented and totally individualistic guy who will be missed by all who knew him. R.I.P. Kenny. You will long be remembered.

Kenny you were the best inspiration for continuing may painting and music...thank
you for all your encouragement...love you now and forever....Audy

It was such a pleasure meeting Kenny on a trip to Portland. What a wonderful man. What a life well lived. We are so sorry for your loss, Jennifer and Cheryl, and to the rest of his loving family.
