Kenny van Dyke

I have wonderful memories of Kenny, Betty and their kids. As a teen, I babysat for them, and raced giant slalom for Skyente Ski Club, sponsored by the Mountain Shop. Kenny and Betty were my amazing role models in every way!

God Bless Kenny, we will see each other some day!

Kenney and my Uncle Pete Withers started me skiing at Multipor when I Was 8yers old. Kenny and Pete attended Grant together and I spent my entire high school years either at the Mountain Shop or at Cascade Ski Club. Kenny was one of my child hood idols. RIP

Tory, I was sorry to read that Kenny had passed away. I remember meeting him on several occasions and he was always cheerful and pleasure to talk to. His history makes for an interesting read of a life well lived.

As a Mount Hood history buff, i always like to run into Kenny as he always had a new story to share. The Mt. Hood Museum would be happy to host a celebration of life anytime.
