Kenny was born on July 24, 1954 and passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
I was the bass player with Jay and the Americans in 1965-1966. Kenny was a great friend and I talked to him from time to time until his passing. He visited me at my club in Tampa a few times and it was great to see him. He and Jay were the real talents in Jay and the Americans. May he rest in peace!

Oh my, I was sitting here listening to streaming music by Kenny and when I went to see how he was doing, I find this. I am so, so, so saddened to realize another music legend has gone home. But Kenny and many many more have left behind a part of themselves for us to still enjoy even with an aching heart. I wish I would have found his music many years ago. I'm blessed to have found him before my time comes. Rest in PEACE Kenny
