Not sure what to say?

Dear Broadhead family. I was unaware of Mr. Broadhead's passing. I had occasion to look him up today as an old friend mentioned him. I wanted you all to know he was my woodworking teacher in the 7th grade at Clayton (Approx 1987-88) - we all just loved him, and learned so very much from him. He was a true gem. I'm sorry for your loss, and thankful I got to know him. (And I still remember getting hung up on his class test when he asked us to calculate the number of yards of concrete...

Dear Jeff and Broadhead Family,

We're sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers in this tough time. If you and Stacia need some time for yourselves, we're there for you. We'd be happy to take care of the kids.

Love,
Shannae and Eli

We are saddened to hear that our friend and colleague Kent Broadhead has passed away. We worked with Kent at Clayton Jr. High School in Salt Lake City for many years. He was an outstanding educator who was loved by his students and fellow teachers. He was known and respected as a "Master Builder" in his field of Industrial Arts. Most people don't know that Kent was also a terrific ping pong player. We had some hard fought battles over the years! We will always remember our friend "B"...

I worked with Kent for several years here at Clayton Middle School before he retired. (Formally Clayton Jr. High and then Clayton Intermediate and now Clayton Middle School.) What a great man! He was always quick with a joke, a smile, a hug when needed. He was a dear friend. I am most sincerely saddened to hear of his passing. He was a joy to us all.

Broadhead family
I had the opportunity to teach with Kent a number of years ago at Clayton.

She was an excellent teacher and a caring individual. The students loved him.

He would stay in the shop with them after school helping them on their projects.

I learned a lot about teaching and children from Kent.

I am sorry to hear of his passing.

We had great conversations in the media center with Brad

sign me "one of the good old boys."
