Not sure what to say?

We will allways hold a special place in our hearts for Kent. He will live on in the gifts he shared so freely with everyone. Kent always came to see our band "Guttergrass" and frequently requested "Boy in a Bubble" by Paul Simon. That was his favorite song we cover. If you have a chance to read the lyrics, it shows you a glimpse of the deep, magical spirit within him. We are so thankful to have been able to hear his heartfelt melodies and gentle insights. He has a permanent place in that...

I was late at hearing the bad news, so I'm sorry to say that I missed Kent's funeral. I can't believe he's gone--I will always remember his tremendous enthusiasm for music. We wrote a couple of songs together and had planned on making an official recording of them. He definitely had a God-given talent on the keyboard and everything else in music that he had anything to do with. We shared a lot of laughs everytime we hung out together. Kent was a true friend--the kind of friend that is so rare...

I, like everyone, am shocked and saddened by the loss of our dear Kent. In the early 1970's we roomed together in Nashville. Had he remained there he would have been successful as a songwriter because he was very talented. Kent's humor was second to none and I am very happy that we re-connected several years ago. We shared a passion for music and talked at length about different aspects of "the business". I have wonderful memories of sharing dreams with Kent, Tim and Steve at the Dobbs House...

Brooke, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. Know that I love you and I'm praying for you and your family as you grieve. -Audra

My deepest condolences and sympathy to Kent's family, his children, grandchildren and friends. When we heard of his passing I told my brother who was also a close friend of Ken'ts that I felt I had lost one of the best friends I ever had in this world. He was one of the best hearted and kindest people I've known. And as fun to talk with and spend time with... I'll miss him as long as I live. A wonderful man.

The St. Francis Prayer

Lord, make me a channel of thy peace,
that where there is hatred, I may bring love;
that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness;
that where there is discord, I may bring harmony;
that where there is error, I may bring truth;
that where there is doubt, I may bring faith;
that where there is despair, I may bring hope;
that where there are shadows, I may bring light;
that where...

What a rotten way to send my love and sympathhy to Kent's family, I would have rather do it in person, but time and distance does not allow. Kent, along with my brother and close circle of friends, was one of my best friends during our high schold days and beyond, and this news has affected us all beyone belief. Its not easy dealing with the news and for the family it must be even more difficult. My heart goes out to you all. Please let me know how I can help. My address and contact numbers...
