We served together on the USS Wichita AOR-1 homeport Alameda Ca. Kent was a Radioman and very good at his job. He always had a smile on his face and was fun to be around! I can honestly say, that he never had an unkind word for anyone the entire time I knew him.
We were young and proud to serve our country...it was the thrill of our young lives! We lost touch after I got off the ship in 1983 except for the few times I dropped in to see the guys!
