Not sure what to say?

Attended grade school, junior high, and Springfield High, Springfield, Illinois with Kent; one of my best childhood friend's, along with Mike Murphy. I lost contact with Kent (mostly my fault) when I was flying as U.S. Naval Flight officer throughout the western Pacific for several years. However, I often thought of Kent and was able to see him when attending Mike Murphy's funeral in Springfield after Mike, tragically, went down in a Navy helicopter north of Pensacola, FL. Kent, along with...

Dear sweet Daddy, I miss you so very much. You were the best teacher and the best listener... you were so loving, comforting, kind, and genuine...you made my life extraordinary. I think about you every hour of every day and I am so grateful to have had you for 38 years. I pray to be with you in Heaven one day. I am so happy that you are no longer in pain. Thank you for fighting for so long! I am so proud of you and I will strive to be Christ's hands as you were to everyone that you meant. I...

I miss you, Kent. You were my Husband, Prayer Partner, Best Friend, Lover, Confidant, Father of our Children, Playmate, and Advisor. I only pray that Our Lord will let me be with Him, Our Blessed Mother, and all the angels and saints along with you to praise Him forever. I love and miss you terribly.

To Barbara, Amy and Kent Jr.: Doreen and I extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to you on the passing of your dear father and husband. Your dad was my brother in the Knights of Columbus and a fellow member of the East Memphis Catholic Club. He made important contributions to both groups. You now have your only personal saint in heaven.

To the Kimball Family,
Although your hearts are heavy, find peace knowing Kent's journey has come to an end and he is finally at rest in his new and glorious home. You have a lifetime of cherished memories to hold close to your heart and must know that Kent has touched so many. How you live the rest of your lives will surely pay tribute to the life you had with Kent as a husband, father and son.

Dear Mrs. Kimball, Amy, and Kent Jr.:

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Kimball. I fondly remember him from all those swim meets at EMCC so many years ago. I also know of his fervent devotion to our Lord and our Lady. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I pray that during this time that our Lord and the Holy Spirit will give you peace and comfort.

Barb,
We were in Fort Morgan,AL all week and we were praying with you on the 19th. How beautiful that you mentioned the Divine Mercy in Kent's obituary. What a blessing to have known a living 21st century saint in our midst, it just was cut short, but his life has made a profound difference in so many lives. May he rest in peace in all the glory of our Dear Savior and all the other saints in heaven. God comfort you, Kent jr and Amy....WHAT A FAMILY YOU ARE!

Barb,Amy and Kent Jr, I worked with your father a short time, but in that time I learned a lot. I learned about the immense love he had for each of you and our Lord and Savior. His faith was a beacon to all that knew him as the wondrous light of Jesus shined brightly through Kent for all to see. My prayers are with your family.

We came to know Kent as a kind and holy man during our bible study at St. Louis. The world has lost a fine man but heaven has gained a beautiful soul! We send our love and prayers. Mary and Pat Dean
