Not sure what to say?

Kent, my friend, I miss you already.

I met Kent during the brief time he owned a game store in Raytown, MO. My first impression was with the sheer size of the man. He was the largest man I have ever known. But later, I learned that his physical size was nothing compared to the size of his compassion, his heart, and his intellect. He was truly a giant of a man in those respects. He was always ready to help a friend or to lend an ear.

Kent's intellect was something...

I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Kent's passing. I spent many hours working with him and enjoyed our conversations and debates regarding everything from taxes to the latest Sci-Fi movie to political hoo-ha, to a great place to find a unique and special dining experience. He will be missed by all that truly knew him well. I remember being told of his teaching skills and decided to monitor one of his 'basic' tax classes to see for myself what kind of teacher he was. It was...

I am sadden to learn of Kent's passing. I remember Kent as a kind, gentle and talented soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was saddened by the news of Kent's illness and death. Although I haven't seen Kent since our senior year at Pem-Day, I remember him well and appreciated his exceptional intelligence, sensitivity and sense of humor. It is heartening to learn that he was able to share his talents with so many people in his shortened life.

Clyde, Kyle, Kristin & Kerry: I just heard the shocking news of Kent's passing and am truly saddened. Through Westwood View, Cub Scouts, Pacesetters and Pembroke, Kent was a great, great friend. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Know that Kent's humor and spirit will live on through everyone whose life he touched. Keeping each of you in my thoughts and prayers.

This message is to send our deepest sympathy from all the friends made by Dr Martin during his work in Plymouth. We know how proud Dr Martin is of all his family and want you to know that we are thinking about you all at this sad time.
Linda

I was so surprised and sorry to hear that Kent passed away and regret that I had not seen him for so long. He was a great friend to grow up with through high school. I will always remember his talent, humor and his gentle being. He was a real gentleman.

I am deeply saddened by your loss. Kent was a good friend for many years and will be remembered always with fondness.

Dear Dr. Martin and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. May God comfort you and may you also be comforted by the prayers that friends are sending your way.
