Not sure what to say?

I am saddened by the family's loss of Kent. I am inquiring about his wife Joan who was a coworker of mine in theTigard schools in the 70"s. It would please me a great deal if one of Kent's daughters could enlighten me about their mother, her health and her whereabouts. Thank you.

Mrs. Myers, Sally, Laura, Jill & Jane... I just became aware of this, and can´t stop reflecting on how much he meant to so many-he was remarkable. I have and always will feel so very fortunate to have known him. I can´t help but think he is golfing on the amazing courses within Heaven about now! My thoughts and love are with you, and my prayer is that God continues to bless, comfort and support each of you.

My condolences to Joan and the rest of the family. Had not known of Kent's passing until today. fond memories of times shared in Bend when Joan and I were school nurses there. We also shared the link to Salem schools where I knew Nancy who was in the class of '59 with my brother Jeff. Kent was a shining light at Bend-LaPine in a challenging time.

Joanie..I taught at Metzger when you were there as the school nurse...you and I always connected... So very sorry for your loss...Love, Sharyn Schneiderman

Vern graduated from high school and Willamette (also fraternity brothers) with Kent. We lived nearby in Lake Oswego and were golfers and members of Oswego Lake CC. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Hello to the family of Kent Myers. My name is John Blair. I reside in the Rosewood neighborhood with my dog Scout. I met Kent while walking at Waluga Park. It was 2019 pre pandemic I believe. What I saw was him helping his wife daily to get around with patience and grace. It struck me to walk up and say.....Sir, You remind me on John Wooden the UCLA coach I admired so much. We talked on several occasions. He told me some stories about going to US open and Bunny Mason giving him a hard time...

Kent was a fraternity brother and good friend of my brother, Bill Lasswell, at Willamette. As a Neskowin neighbor, I always enjoyed hearing about their adventures. So sorry for your loss.

Kent and golf, his passion to be the best brought him to tinker with the golf swing, he amazed us all putting the ball in from everywhere with his hands gripping the putter behind his back with the blade between his feet! A feat many of us tried to duplicate but never perfected. See you on the greens one day sir

I caddied in the 1965 Oregon Amateur and witnessed some of the most amazing golf shots that I still tell people about to this day. Mr Myers was very nice to me that day although I was caddying for his opponent. Rest In Peace.
