Not sure what to say?

I served 2 years with Kent on the Cub Scout Roundtable Staff. Boundless enthusiasm, a good man. I was always impressed by how highly he spoke about his son. Soar high, Brother Eagle.

I just learned of this, so sorry I missed the funeral. Trey, your dad was just an all around great guy and I'm glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, he was way too young.

Dear Trey:

Your father was a great man and father. He loved you so much and was very proud of you. He touched so many people and was always filled with kindness. Even my dog and he were buddies. We will all miss him. May God be with you as you mourn and remember.

My deepest sympathy to Kent's family. Kent was my expert 'go-to' person at Bank of America for any desktop issue. We had many conversations about Scouts since my son, Greg, and husband, Bob Olsen, were active Pinewood Derby participants for several years. I know Kent is greatly missed. You are in my prayers at this difficult time.

Kent was a pleasure to work with. I don't remember him ever being in a bad mood. He always had time to help someone out. A happy hour was always better when Kent was there. He'll be missed.

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I will miss Kent tremendously. We've developed a very close friendship over the years and I'll treasure those memories forever. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it to the services, but will be thinking of and praying for all of you during this tough time.

It was a pleasure to serve with Kent on New Horizons Cub Scout Roundtable and Pine Wood Derby staffs; many a night of grown adults having fun & being silly while delivering the Promise of Scouting. He loved his son; he loved Scouts. My truest & deepest 'Buffalo' condolences to all of his family. Darn, he was such a good guy!

Trey, I am so sorry for the loss of your Father. I worked at Bank of America for many years with your father and everynight we would sit on the steps outside the bank and talk about your scouting activites and your fishing adventures. Before we left, of course we would talk about his fabulous Star Wars collection. May the force be with him.

Kent my brother bear. We had some great times in Wood Badge, but then again we were bears and we always have a good time when we're in the woods.

I am proud of the fact that 4 years after the course ended the G5 bears still get together once or twice a year to discuss life and share a meal. I promise that tradition will continue and we will toast you the next time we meet.

Once a bear, always a bear... and a good ol' bear too...
God bless you Kent and all of...
