Kent in his overalls when he was a "mere" member of the installation crew when Julius Wasserstein was the Supervisor of the Installation Department at SFMOMA, when the Museum was still on Van Ness across from City Hall.

I have been missing Kent so much. Just last night, he was in my dreams once again. l know the sweeter side of his spirit is looking down on me as l travel on the path of my life alone. Kent may be gone, but he is not forgotten!

I had a meeting with Kent at Passage. The piece was installed but the elaborate base was not. We were discussing the base when an elderly woman walking by came up to us and began a rant...This sculpture is disgusting, its a blight on the neighborhood, travesty, etc. etc and the artist should be drawn and quartered. Kent says Well, i just happen to be the artist. She says Well, you should be drawn and quartered...more and more nasty invective. Kent waits till she flames out, then says Thank...

Although this is not a personal memory, I'd just like to note that Kent is remembered by some of the artists who worked with him on the enormous Lowell Nesbitt mural painted high on the back wall of the Administration Building on Treasure Island, San Francisco.https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/treasure-island-naval-history-mural
