Pat, Liese, Chris, Loved Kent since I was a young teenager, you captured him so well in this obit. Always kind, always able to voice a disagreement without putting one on the defense. We had a couple of intense meetings in 1988 and left them with hugs and respect. I have treasured the times I was able to see him at Second in the years since when I returned for certain occasions. In addition to his strong Christian character and great command of English and inquiring mind, I recall fondly his great gift of inviting anyone to join a social conversation, and what an honor it was for him to introduce one to the others. Always welcoming. Such a joy for us to have known Kent.
