Not sure what to say?

Skip and I met as we were both part of the DGA's training program in the mid '60's. He approached me after a meeting of the group, and sensed that I, as he, had movie interests beyond the Assistant Director work we were engaged in. So we wrote a script up there where he and Nancy lived on North Formosa. And it was a pretty good script! We called it "The Wild Bunch." But Sam Peckinpah beat us to the title. And the subject was the same group that peopled "Butch Cassidy...!" But what a smart,...

We miss you my Friend. Thanks for your friendship and the amazing legacy you left us!

It´s hard for me to believe that Skip is gone. Because he lives on so vibrantly in my memory. His incredible joy for people and music and life was remarkable to me. He holds a special place in my heart.

Remembering Skip today missing him and remembering all the fun times we had together. Sending LOVE to his family and friend . He was a good friend !

Skip and I were in the DGA training program together and collaborated on the first screenplay for both of us. We didn't quite get it made but all were surprised at its quality. No surprise as Skip was smart and movie smart. He went on to a terrific career as a production person, while I did my best, caroming through Hollywood. But for some time, he was my only friend out there and I was fortunate thereby. What fun that his daughter and my son ended up as classmates at Lewis and Clark...

What a delightful Human being. Always a pleasure talking with him. He could make your heart smile. Kathy, you did truly make his heart sing.

There's a hole in my heart tonight. Skip told me that he came over with his family to our house to check out the new addition when my folks brought me hone to Oakesdale. That was seventy years ago now. Since then, we have wandered in and out of each other's lives. I was at his place when he decided to quit smoking, and when he quit chewing. I was there when Darcy and Elora came to live with him, and when Nan passed away. He told me stories and we taught each other our favorite songs. He took...

I met Skip in 1989 while we worked on Glory. He was a true man of honor, a wonderful mentor and a valued friend. He will live forever and his honest work touched millions. God Speed Skip

Skip was my mentor and the reason why I pursued the profession of becoming an assistant director in the film and television industry. Working with him for the first time on the movie, Glory, he was respectful and was a good instructor. He was tough, but very knowledgeable, and expected the very best out of his staff. I have missed working with him, and I am saddened he is gone. God Bless you Skip Cosper. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and making me better. John W. Guss
