Kenyatta (Ken) was born April 25, 1970 in Lincoln Park, MI. She was the eldest of 3 children from the union of Edward A. Foster and Dina Lavon Ross. She attended several schools in Detroit, MI and later graduated from high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She loved to work and help people and was very industrious as a certified "Medical Assistant". But, out of all the work that she engaed herself, nothing was more gratifying to her than working for her Great- God Jehovah. She willingly devoted her young life by being baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses January 14, 1983. This afforded her the precious opportunity to share her faith with others through the pioneer ministry and by letting her "light shine" day-by-day.

Kenyatta was such a beauty, and well-rounded girl. She loved to cook, and she was good at it. She enjoyed watched football especially the Pittsburgh Steelers (Big Ben). Ken loved music, reading and studying her Bible. She always had a thirst for spiritual knowledge. Ms. Foster truly was a lover of people who loved and appreciated the warm companionship of the brotherhood and always eagerly anticipated the going to Jehovah's house to impart a spiritual gift to others whether it be at the Belleaire Woods or the North Congregation. She touched so many lives with her love, her sweetness, wisdom, bright personality with that million dollar smile which was so full of life!

Kenyatta Lavon Foster will forever be deeply cherished and remembered by her most loving and fully devoted Mommy: Dina, Loving and caring Daddy: Edward, Bonus Dad: Lavarne (Poppi), wonderful and beloved sister: Uno, sweet and caring brother: Keir. She loved and adored her niece Taylor Marcella and nephew Christopher (Nu Nu). Her understanding brother-in-law Christopher E. , auntie Vernell and uncle Ally who always blessed her with their words of encouragement their faith and sterling spirituality, her great-great uncle Thomas Tate, great uncle Andrew and uncle Gerald. She was blessed to have the love and support of her Bonus brothers and sister. Kenneth Ross (Dawn), Keith Ross (Sheila), Kimberly Clark (Will), Kevin, and Kristopher Ross. There were those who "REDOUBLED MY JOYS, AND CUT MY GRIEF IN HALF". YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE. I LOVE YOU ALL!

To travel such an arduous journey, one needs "Realism, Diginity, and Love! With grateful hearts we thank the following: Fresenius Medical Care, Dr. Y. Hashish and staff. My precious baby, "it has been said that a sweet child is the sweetest thing in nature" and that you were. Your true identity sprang from the tenderness and gentleness of you heart. Jeremiah 31:33 :with a love to time indefinite, I have loved you. Forever love, Mommy.

If by chance I have forgotten anyone please charge it to my head and not my heart. She was truly a phenomenal woman!- The family of Kenyatta L. Foster
