Not sure what to say?

To the family of Kermit Hinshaw,
Sad to hear of the passing of Kermit.
Great Guy! my condolences to your family.
I first met Kermit about 20 years ago and did spine surgery on him--I was at DMOS. We kept in touch some over the years and I still have his last letter to me.
Hope you can share some good stories. Dan McGuire

A very full life well lived. I will never forget the night Kermit and I spent hosing and walking Jodevin. After the vets at the hospital advised euthanasia for the 10 year old World Champion due to kidney failure and extremely severe acute laminitis, Kermit and I brought him home. We took a horse that could not walk a step without nerve blocks and whose head and legs were grotesquely swollen from the kidney failure to a horse literally looking like a million dollars as he pranced around...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Hinshaw family, I had the pleasure of meeting Kermit some years ago and It was a blessing to have been able to have crossed paths with this remarkable man, I know he will be missed by everyone he touched in many ways, on his journey through life.

I had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Hinshaw many times over the years when he placed ads in The Horseman And Fair World magazine. He had a quick wit and such a pleasant demeanor, he made every conversation enjoyable. My thoughts and prayer are with his family.
