Not sure what to say?

Funny, I was just thinking of Kerri yesterday and this email popped up. Yesterday was cold but sunny and I remember as kids we had a project to write a tag line for our name. Kerri came up with 'Kerri Shines just like the Sun'. It was so perfect because she really did. Still miss you Kerri! Sending love to her family.

I have fond memories of Kerri in our early teen years into high school. She was a very special gift from God! My prayers and sympathy are with you.

Kerri was my best friend throughout childhood. She was such a gentle, caring and loving person. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

Kerri was the kind of cousin that everyone would like to have. Sweet and kind and genuine! She will be missed by her family!

How lucky our family is to count Kerri and her family among our dearest friends. Kerri brought light and laughter to every room she entered and she will be forever missed.

Our deepest sympathies to John and Emma, who inspire us everyday with their strength and incredible capacity for love even in the face of such loss.

We can only smile when imagining the Lego filled reunion Kerri and little John are having now.

Our deepest sympathies and never-ending love.

I did not know Kerri, but I knew John and I knew of her illness. How? My spouse passed away in April of a similar cancer. John was instrumental in getting my wife an appointment at MD Anderson which gave my wife (and me) HOPE! John LOVED Kerri and I know his family and friends will assist him in this time of incredible grief.

I loved sitting with Kerri at the Galena girls' lacrosse games when she wasn't busy at the scoring table. Kerri loved those girls and loved that team. Thank you Kerri for making those games of much fun.

Such a courageous woman. The best mother and wife, daughter & sister. Love and sympathy to all who knew and loved Kerri.

A gentle soul,
a caring spirit,
a warm kindness,
a lasting touch…

Kerri's light and love
will live on
forever in our hearts.

Sending our deepest sympathy & most caring love.
