Read MoreAn LOHS classmate emailed me that Kerry had died. He was one of my best and earliest grade school friends--part of a group of 10 or so who began kindergarten together in the Presbyterian church after the school burned down. We shared quite a few adventures growing up and I always enjoyed seeing him at LOHS reunions. I hate seeing our ranks begin to thin and will really miss him.

One cannot remember Kerry without smiling. His kind heart and corny wit and his obvious caring for others was Kerry. He helped our family more than once in our time of need- during prolonged unemployment and when 2 70ft trees fell in our yard- Kerry was quick to organize help and be hands on to help us through these difficult times. He will always be a smile in my heart and his legacy will live on through Joan, Melnda and Megan. Sending much love-
