Really good friend of mine for a lot of years in grade school and middle school. His dad (who was the mayor at some point in there), Wee Willy Walley was our coach for most of it . Hung out at his house a lot, downstairs in what was essentially his dad's man cave. Good times. Super good dude. Such a bummer to be gone so...

I met Kerry in the early 1980s while attending UAF. He was dating one of my friends. He was kind enough to let me stay at his house for a month or so, between school semesters, while I waited for a summer fishing job to begin. I'm not sure what I would have done since I couldn't stay in the dorms, and didn't even have a car, and my parents had moved out of state. Kerry was a good guy, and I'm sorry that he is gone too soon.
