Kevin was my friend first and a close work colleague in TVNZ when I was supervising cameraman/studio floor manager for C'mon. Not a man that suffered fools lightly, & didn't hesitate to say so. Those were heady days indeed and I write as one also aged 86 in 2024. The massive success of Town and Around, and the nationwide telethon should have set a never-to-be-changed style for TV in NZ.
