We were deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Aurand's passing. Both of my boys enjoyed his class and talked about what a great teacher he was, and I appreciated the time he took during conferences. He will be missed.

Mr. Aurand was more than a teacher to my son, he was a friend. From their "aha" moments in class to playing chess blindfolded on Monday afternoons... He left such an impression and his class was the highlight of the school day for many. I was deeply saddened to hear of his loss and my heart broke for his friends, family, and the children whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.

Our love and prayers go out to the family and all those who knew Kevin. May God be with you and comfort you now and in the days ahead.
