Not sure what to say?

Well Linda I can just imagine the ruckus Kevin and my mom are creating in Heaven, Hope all is well with you and kid. Your friend always

I am greatly saddened by news of Kevin's passing and so sorry to be learning of his death only now. I will always cherish the kindness Kevin showed me when he was a counselor at Boys Club camp in Brimfield and again during our year together at Tech. He had a special touch and went out of his way to boost my self-confidence. I looked up to him and am forever grateful to have known and been influenced by such a special person. Please accept my belated but sincere condolences on your loss, and...

It's been 3 years since Kevin happily entered Heaven. I'm sure he's with Mom & Dad (My DEAR Uncle Mike). After Kevin's passing, I have been able to reconnect with his wife, Linda, and we chat now and then and also reconnected with his sister, Kathy, my sweet and funny cousin. I wish ALL the Collins' family peace and love. Cousin Elizabeth

My brother, who played basketball with Kevin, passed shortly after Kevins going to that Ball Field IN THE SKY Both thought highly of one another, and will always be remember as being very loved individuals by us all !

Kevin and I grew up together on Catalpa terrace in Springfield. I lived across from him and we were best friends until my family moved to Connecticut and we lost touch. I had looked for him a few times as I grew older but never found any contact information until today when I discovered he passed in 2016. I am so sadden by this news. He was a great friend. RIP Kevin and my condolences to his family.

I just found out today that Kevin had passed away almost two years ago. I worked with Kevin in Hazel Park, Mi back in 1974-5. I was quite a bit younger then Kevin and he was of course a former major league ballplayer. Never the less he could not have been a better friend a mentor to the fresh faced kid I was at the time. Thanks for all the great memories old friend and RIP.

I was known as BOB'S brother Howie, Mush lawlor and Frank Page or any one else who had car, would bring me to the games. I became the ball shagger. Kevin was over our house alot, he was always doing something to make me laugh. I will never forget the time I went to Shea Stadium to watch him play what a thrill. I was always asking BoB how Kevin was doing. My condolences. Jim Montagna

Fond memories on Tinkham Rd farm with the Collins family. My condolences. Lisa Sampson Taylor

Kevin was an even better person than he was an athlete, he will be missed by many of us.
