Not sure what to say?

Pastor Kevin was far-and-away my closest male friend; I can't fathom losing him, even after the years it's been now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I have just learned of Pastor Kevin's passing and I am full of sadness. He was a wonderful man who during difficult family times lifted me up. Kevin and family, Thank You for your wonderful and loving guidance during the passing of both my parents, Gene and Bette Mathias. Your eulogy at the luncheon in honor of my Mom will forever be in my heart. Thoughts and prayers are forever with you and your family.

I fondly remember "Mr. Crsipell" as a student at LCA. He was my senior year Bible teacher, and encouraged me to search for answers to difficult questions. I was particularly struck by his animation and deep commitment to serving the Lord. May he continually rest in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Dear Polly and family,

My younger brother Eddy heard through Jeff of Kevin's passing. He called me this morning and you have been on my heart and in my prayers all day....and will continue to be. He was one of the guys at LCA that was larger than life in both word and deed. I am very sorry for your loss but rejoice with you because his whereabouts is known to those who are called by His name.

Fondly,
Dotty Slagen

DEAR POLLY AND FAMILY: SINCE LEARNING OF KEVIN'S PASSING YOU HAVE BEEN IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE WE WERE IN LCA CLASSES OF 1968 &1969, BUT I HAVE GOOD MEMORIES OF KEVIN IN DRAMA AND PLAYS. I LOVE THE PICTURE ABOVE AS IT PORTRAYS HIM. I REMEMBER THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR EACH OTHER. CONDOLENCES,

Hi Polly,
Roger Luce called me his morning with the news of Kevin's passing last Friday. My prayers are with you and your family. You and Kevin have been together a long time and have a lifetime of memories.
Peace and grace to you and the girls.

Dr. Carr (Lloyd and Gwen)

My heart aches in hearing of the passing of Kevin. Kevin was my 8th grade Enlish teacher, senior bible teacher and drama tracher. His humor and all around nice guy demeanor made him ine of my favorite teachers. I know that he is having a great laugh with his Lord and Savior. It's not good-bye but see you later. Prayers to Polly and the kids.

Kevin, I'll always remember you as the man who taught me what CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien were all about... to this day I read them over and still glean new things. You also helped me mold my love for the outdoors, and were instrumental in helping me become the pun loving man I am today God speed, bother... I'll see you on the other side!
