Kevin Michael D'Amico

When I attended my FM class of '78 reunion this past August, I saw that Kevin was included in a tribute to classmates who had passed on. I was deeply saddened by the news. I haven't seen Kevin since graduation but he is someone I've often thought of and wondered about through the years. He was always so nice and just great to be around. I finally accessed this obituary and learned the reason for this tragic loss. I did know his sister Patty, but it's not likely that she will remember...

Kevin's nickname was "Special K" and that moniker fit him perfectly. During my time in NYC, Kevin taught me to ski and how how to survive in the bar/restaurant industry.
While that era ended a long time ago, Kevin's enduring grace and kindness, exceedingly rare in the modern world, made an indelible impression on me.
