Kevin Farney

Kevin Farney, 51, was born December 28, 1965 and departed this life on January 24, 2017.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Burkburnett. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.

Kevin was a resident of Burkburnett since 1973. He was a football enthusiast, OU being his favorite college team.  He was a staunch Nascar fan, and a member of Red River Corvette Club.  He enjoyed grilling and spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed delving into history and Bible mysteries.

Kevin is survived by two brothers, Ray of Burkburnett and Ron of Arlington; and sister Becky of Arlington.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rayma Jean of Abilene, and parents Raymond and Betty Farney.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Owens and Brumley in Burkburnett.
