Not sure what to say?

I knew Keven WAY back when we were kids going to Pine Knob Elementary and thought of Kevin at the time as my best buddy. We kept in touch for a while, but his move to the west side of the state made it difficult in the pre-internet age and no cell phones. I've thought of Kevin often and always hoped he was doing well. I reached out a few times, but no luck getting in touch with him, I regret. I learned today from a mutual long lost buddy that Kevin passed away and wanted to somehow touch...

Phil and Chris,

I just learned of the passing of your son/brother on Wednesday May 13 from the posting at work . I am very sorry to hear of your loss. You're such nice people.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin's family and friends. I worked with Kevin a couple of years ago. He was excellent at his job and had a great attitude. He was great to work with. I was a young supervisor and had my hands full. There were many times when I was stressed out and on the verge of crying. Kevin made me laugh. I used to joke that I had the dream team operating my press line. Later when he bid out I would be happy when he had to cover my press for the day. I know I...

Bethany et al.:
My family and I send our sincerest condolences to you and yours. The fact that the Watson Street Gang always manages to support each other in times of great loss says a lot about where we all grew up. Know that you are in our thoughts.

Bethany, Judy and I appreciate each an every one of you that have contributed to this Guest Book. We can really feelall the prayers, love, and support you've offered to us. We wish we could thank you personally!

For those who wish to know a bit more about Kevin, I have attached the notes I used to speak at the funeral that helped me thank people who participated and tell a little bit about who Kevin was:

Bethany has asked me to spend a couple of minutes to convey...

Bethany, Alek, and all of Kevin's Loved Ones,
I wanted to let you know that I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it home for the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry for this incredible loss and I pray that God is with you through this hard time. As hard as this is, it is comforting to know that Kevin is in a better place and that our faith provides us with that comfort. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I am so very sorry to hear about Kevin. Although I only had the opportunity to meet him a few times, it was not difficult to recognize all of the wonderful qualities mentioned in this Guest Book.

As Allie's Godmother, I feel very sad that she will miss out on getting to know her Godfather.

My thoughts and prayers are with your families during this sorrowful time. Kevin was a wonderful friend to me and I am so blessed to have countless memories to recall fondly. His warmth and knack for making me laugh, even at myself endeared me to him. Kevin will be missed but not forgotten as he remains a friend forever.

Kevin and the rest of us at work had many great times. His taste in humor and movies was my favorite, often quoting one liners from any givin Mel brooks movie was always part of our day. We will miss you.
