Not sure what to say?

The love expressed by those who have written about you here can only be surpassed by the Peace He has given you now. Until we meet again. Your family is in our prayers. Sincerely.

For some moments in life there are no words.

Kevin,
We have had so many great times with you and your family. All the LSU and Super Bowls games at your house were so much fun! You were such a good man...a real man's man but yet a tender heart. You will be missed!

Kevin,
We have loved being friends with you and your family. All the times we shared together watching Lsu and Superbowls..we have loved. You were such a "man's man"....but tender-hearted as well. We love you and will miss you!

Kevin and me at the White House

Kevin, you were my little brother. The little brother I spent 14 hours a day with at Astroworld. The little brother who couldn’t get enough of the Space Center. And, the little brother who cheered with me for the St. Louis Cardinals. You turned out to be one hell of a big man. I will always be proud of you, love you and miss you.

Mr. Kevin,
I'll never forget all the things you taught me in softball and how great of a person and coach you were. You always had a smile on your face and words of encouragement to give. I thank you and love you for that. I promise to you that I will be a great friend and sister to Brooke. She, among the rest of the family, misses you dearly. But we all know you no longer feel pain and are in a better place.

Rest in peace.

Daddy,
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, and miss you. It still doesn't feel real to me that you're gone. I feel like if I drove home right now, you'd be there, mad at me for driving so late. Everything I see, every song I hear, everything I do, reminds me of you. Can't wait until the day I get to see you again.

Rest well daddy,
Brooke

Spring baseball has always been something to look forward to each year because we knew that Kevin and Shelly would be out at the park with Garret. Everyone always wanted Kevin behind the plate umpiring their kid's game. He was a fair ump and the kids respected him. Kevin was a great leader on and off the baseball field, and he will be greatly missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with Shelly, Brooke, Drake, and Garret during this time.

Shelly,
You and your children have been in my thoughts daily. I cannot begin to imagine the deep sorrow and loss you all are feeling. Find comfort in knowing that Kevin's suffering has ended, and that you all are protected by a very special guardian angel. Keep your faith strong and remember that God always has a plan. Love and miss you!
