Not sure what to say?

Mr. Gilbert was my Choral teacher at Cascade (2003-2006), He helped me with a lot, and was a great teacher! I will never forget how he always had a smile on his face! I have learned a lot from the death of my child, that yes it is painful, and sometimes unbearable, but they would not want pain, discomfort and agony to run our life because theirs ended, they would want you to move on and live you life with them at heart...Yes to always remember them, but not to morn more than necessary. Dear Gilbert Family,

I was a choral student of his from 1999-2002 at Cascade Middle School. He was a wonderful teacher. An inspiration. My father(who has passed on in september)and him spoke often and were great friends. My prayers go to you and your family. ~Pamala Spangenberg (Stevens)~

Denise, may the Lord hold your family in the palm of His hands and you be comforted in knowing Kevin is home with His Lord and savior and he is there with Di now.He was a great pastor and friend.

What a wonderful man. I am so glad that he got to be a part of my life. He taught me how to play the flute and I also met one of my best friends, Di Gilbert through him. He will be missed and I know he left a great impact behind him. My heart goes out to you guys and I will be praying comfort and peace for you.

Love,
Leah (Addison) Roberts

Kevin was our son's middle school choral director--the positive impact he had on our family cannot be measured. Kevin's patience and sense of humor with teenagers was amazing. He was one of a kind and we are forever grateful that we had the opportunity to know such a fine man. Our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. May your precious memories of him help you through this difficult time.

A great friend and neighbor.

Our hearts go out to you Denise. Jon and I are forever grateful for the time we spent working with Kevin and you in Bend. Kevin's patience and joking made the early morning hours so much more enjoyable. We are so very sorry that he is gone at such a young age.

As a dear friend, leader, and brother, the impact that Kevin has made on so many lives is immeasurable. Our love and prayers are with you Denise and the family. My Jesus wrap his loving arms around you all as you go through this time.

Kevins life and stewardship to his family and church body, my mom, my sister and her family, and as a result our entire family, will continue to be a blessing for many years. Our sorrow is for his family and your body with his absence and for that we will pray for you as you continue without him. We truly rejoice with you about his life and what he means to your church body and especially his wife and family.
