Not sure what to say?

Got an email this morning from Legacy.com with the opportunity to share a thought to remember Kevin Gile. I was a close friend and neighbor with Kevin on Honan road along with Dave Leavitt. We shared many fun times playing sports, riding bikes, and hanging out in the neighborhood. It is hard to believe it's been 15 years since Kevin's accident. I am trying to think about what has happened over those 15 years to appreciate the gift of life as we all should. Kevin loved life and was always...

I just found this site for Kevin thru Dave Leavitt. Kevin and I were very close friends for several years from about the 5th grade to high school until I moved to Buxton and eventually away from Maine. We lived next door and he was a great friend. Even though we didn't keep in touch through the years I now find myself thinking of him often since learning of his accident.
I always have good thoughts when thinking about Kevin and his spirit for adventure and enthusiasm for life. Reading...

It was a bitter cold night we felt a moist wind thru our long underwear and doubled up pair of pants. We headed out on hardened snow crust with sleds in tow. We’d cross Broadway Gardens field and go down and back up thru the dark woods out to a 100-acre+ Nelsons field. With moonlit snow crystals glowing under our feet we’d occasionally break thru the crust with a little pain associated to the calf area of our legs. But this wouldn’t turn us back, for we knew what pleasure lied ahead! ...

What a sad day to hear of your loss... I will always remember fondly times spent together when we were small... Visiting your grandparents and you while we were staying with my own grandparents. Kevin was always around, just being Kevin... and that was a great person to be! He will live forever in our memories... I pray for you and your family every day, Kevin, that the pain of your loss will lessen with time and the joy of knowing you will remain... God be with all of you ... especially...

To all of Kevin's family and friends,I am sorry to hear of your great loss, may time help to ease your grief.

Kevin, I can't begin to put in words how much I miss you. You always kept in touch with phone calls and made it a point to come by several times to visit every time we made it back to Scarborough. I know you loved your family very much and that you were very proud of Aaron. We had our share of the teasing, fights, etc of childhood, as well as lots of laughter and fun times and you were always a good brother to me. Know that you are in our thoughts and we will miss you always. With much...

To the Giles family,I am so sorry for your loss.My prayers and thoughts are with you all. A friend of Craig's.

Kevin has been a great cousin and friend to me our entire lives. I’ll always cherish and remember times we spent together on the farm in Pembroke as kids, and at my house, camp and NHIS. Kevin had a huge, caring heart that I will always remember. Kim and I could always count on him for visits and phone calls. You didn’t always know when he would show up. You just knew he would. I will miss that. It was evident in every visit how proud he was of his son Aaron and how much love there was...
