HAAS, Kevin Thomas – Of Linden, passed suddenly on the morning of Saturday, February 18th, 2017. Kevin was born on July 16th, 1953 to Lorraine and Rourke Haas. Kevin married his best friend, Lisa Cokley on November 20th, 1993. Together they've raised their two children, Rourke and Heidi Haas.
Throughout his life, Kevin enjoyed woodworking and landscaping. He has built several intricate bird houses for his loved ones. He sang each and every day - for mass, for birthday parties, for himself. He accepted any opportunity to golf and play cards with family and friends. He has spent many Saturdays in Ann Arbor with his wife and children, cheering on their favorite team in the Big House. It didn't take long for Kevin and Lisa to realize they would be together forever. Kevin taught Rourke and Heidi the importance of respect, humility, and laughter. He knew not to take life too seriously. He was a partner at Wah Yee Associates, an architectural firm in Farmington Hills. He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc.
Kevin passed away with his mother, Lorraine Haas and sister, Kimberly Trasciatti. He was preceded in death by his father, Rourke Haas, his brother, Kerry Haas, and his sister-in-law, Laura Angel Cokley.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa; his children, Rourke (son) and Heidi (daughter); his siblings, Marc (Susanne) Haas, Alan Trasciatti, Richard (Madu) Haas, Randall Haas, Sean (Alexis) Haas, Kelly (Michelle) Haas; and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Jerry Vincke on Thursday, February 23rd at 10:30AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. To All,
Kevin wore many hats throughout his life. Some may not know Kevin was a Squadron Leader protecting the skies overhead, Leader of the 1st Cavalry, and was the captain aboard the Nordic Wolf navigating rough seas!
We all know is he was a great son and brother, wonderful husband to Lisa, dedicated father to his children, and all around good person and role model.
What I know is he was one of my best friends and I will forever miss our visits and phone conversations...
