Dearest Family of Father Kevin, I know that the angels came to greet Father Kevin and to take him to his heavenly home. When I met Fr. Kevin after his first Mass at St. John's, I thought to myself, wow what a nice young man. He had a great sense of humor, as he teased me for being a Ravens fan. He also seemed very humble to me, which was very endearing. Our new Pope Francis also has that trait and it is something all of us could use more of, especially our priests. God bless his humble, loving soul and give his friends and family strength during this difficult time.

On July 29, 2013, I asked Father Kayda if he could give me a copy of the prayer to St. Bridget of Sweden. He had the week before had a homily on this prayer. After I had gotten this prayer, I made about 30 copies and handed them out. Now, everyday I say that prayer 'In memory of Father Kayda.'
