Fr. Kayda, please keep a loving lookout for all of us at St. John's---especially for Fr. Brommer---as he is also loved and held so dearly in our hearts--alongside all of your precious family and loved ones.

You will always be our Spiritual Father as a good many of us will be speaking to you in prayer and your memory will go on...

And we have wept. No words are sufficient other than turning to prayer and offering up Masses. The Holy Spirit really spoke through his talks he gave. I will miss running into him.

When I met Fr. Kevin after his first Mass at St. John's, I thought to myself, wow what a nice young man. He had a great sense of humor, as he teased me for being a Ravens fan. He also seemed very humble to me, which was very endearing. Our new Pope Francis also has that trait and it is something all of us could use more of, especially our priests. God bless his humble, loving soul and give his friends and family strength during this difficult time.
