Read MoreMr. Keane as I knew him when I was a student in his English class in 91/92 was an amazing teacher. His class was the first time I "got" literature and writing. He was an important figure in my education and I think of his class often.

Kevin and I were colleagues in the Westfield High School English department where I began teaching high school in 1964. Besides admiring Kevin's brilliance in the classroom, I valued his friendship, his ever interesting conversation, and his Puckish sense of humor. We had many serious talks about literature and writing, but we also had many good laughs together. Kevin was a dear friend whose memory I cherish.
