How am I just learning of your passing? I’ve been so mad at you for “dropping the ball”. The last email I had from you said, “Will call after lunch have some questions to ask to be able to price the work”. That was May 9th, 2017. I had pestered you so many times and finally let it go. Never did I dream you were GONE I’m in shock. I know you’re out there raising hell somehow, some way. Rock on!

Hugs from here,

So overwhelmed with sadness to see the news that you had passed...was about to email you and googled you for no good reason—you are not the guy to show up on google...but then you did in the worst way possible. You were a fast friend when I met you 26 years ago at the White House conference on travel and tourism-thereafter, always there to help when I was traveling overseas to someplace I should not be going...but did feeling that you would always have my back..perhaps now you do more than...

Kevin was first cousin to Dennis Michael Dicke, Captain, USMC. Mike and I served together in Vietnam in 1956-66 and became good friends. Mike was KIA on his second tour in Vietnam. I posted some memorabilia on the net in honor of Mike. Years later, Kevin read some of the stuff and contacted me. We agreed to meet at the dedication of the National Museum of the Marine Corps. We did meet and kept up a good friendship over the years by email. I stopped getting messages from him and found out...

Dear Clay,

Kevin passed away from heart disease. I was working for him at the time and it was a shock to everyone.

Best Regards,
Theresa

Oh my gosh I was thinking about Kevin this morning and realized it had been a few years since we had connected. I had no idea that he had passed away. I am shocked and devastated on learning of this news. There's so many things I wanted to catch up on with him. If anyone has any info on his passing...would love to hear from you. Peace and Blessings to his Family and Rest in Peace, Kevin. I am greatly missing you!

I still miss you and the kind mentorship you
offered me. When you walked into the room, everyone smiled and knew they would learn something important. You are deeply missed, Sylvia Delafield
