Kevin Mark Meyer

Kevin and I were great friends in H.S., and even dated for a while. Lost touch after graduation. While perusing today for our 50th class reunion, I learned he had passed away. Hey there buddy. Well it's June 3rd again so I thought I'd get up early and send you a note. It's a little after 4 a.m. here. I just made a pot of coffee and put Beatles 65 on the box to listen to while I wrote you.

Well ole buddy how's it goin' I'm sorry I didn't get to write here last year. I was just getting over the "Chemo" I had gone through for the Big "C". It was a tough fight but so far so good. Finally got the heart to get back into playing music and recording. Been doing a "Bluegrass Thang" every week and working with a few folks I've met. Not bad, but not ever as good as us! We remember sharing many happy times with Kevin and his parents - usually over meals, picnics, barbeques, etc. And Don often talks about playing tennis with Kevin. He will be missed by many.
