Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Miller, Kevin Patrick, passed away, Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Kevin was the beloved son of George and the late Mary Miller.  He left us way too soon.  Kevin was a character, and had a great comedic timing and a unique sense of humor.  From the time he was very young he kept his family laughing.  Kevin had four siblings, George, John, Deborah and the late Daniel.  Kevin had two wonderful sons, Brendan and Brady, who he loved very much and would see them as often as possible.  His most important achievement was, trying to be the best dad he could be, expressing in his very own way, love and care for his children.  He was always willing to show up for his family and spend quality time.  He would Play games, move furniture or do some chores, or lend a helping hand whenever he could.  He showed up for every get together, and called on every birthday.  He rode bikes with the boys when they were younger, which would then be followed by playing tabletop games after dinner.  All he wanted for his two sons was to live happy healthy lives.  He lived his life, spreading joy and laughter with a smile on his face at no ones expense.  A pure beacon of joy.  He shared his wisdom without expectations, shared his guidance without demand, and gave his love unconditionally.

Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor, sometimes a little off beat, but always left us smiling.  He was unique, not many people would decided in their 40's to go to college, yet he did, and selected The University of the Virgin Islands.  Kevin loved the water.  In his younger years, had a jet ski and shared it with his whole family.  He dreamed of owning a sailboat and sailing it to the Virgin Islands to live on.

Kevin had a creative spirit, from the time he was very young and grew up to be a stylish, entrepreneurial and inventive young man.  He was a barber by trade and so enjoyed interacting with people.  Kevin is at peace now along side his brother Dan and his mother.  Kevin will be missed, but his memory will live on in our hearts, and he will always be with us.  God Bless you Kevin.

Not sure what to say?

Kevin was a great treasure and will be missed greatly

Kevin made me laugh almost every day at school. When he saw me in the halls, he would say the first half of my name 'Em' and after about 10 seconds he would follow up with 'ily'. Sometimes the second half did not come until the next bell.

George, so very sorry for your loss.
