My name is Maria Frisby. I am a great niece of the late Oliver (Sonny) Evans. My condolences are with all of the family. I was here thinking about Kevin today. I was told that Kevin was my late Uncle Oliver (Sonny) Evans son and my cousin a long time ago. I heard that Kevin was a lovely person. I wish that I could have met Kevin. I know that he is with the Lord in heaven. We will all be together with our loved ones again some day.

I am extremely saddened by just learning of Kevin's passing. I know how close you guys were and I pray that all the wonderful memories you have of Kevin will bring you comfort and ease your pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom and Kevin's family. Kevin was a wonderful man and he will be sadly missed!

I was so sorry to hear about Kevin-truly shocked. Denise, you are a strong, smart and beautiful woman. I know that God will help you get through this and I pray that some day, you will find peace again. Your children were lucky to have Kevin while he was here, and they are lucky to have you now. I only met Kevin Mitchell twice. In that short time you really got the sense that he was a confident and happy individual.I was really good friends with his brother chris. Who i've tried to get in contact with for over 6 or 7 years. It's a shame we come in contact over such a tragedy. My deepest condolences to Chris and Mrs. Mitchell who I never met. Dear Gloria and Chris,

Still, I can see Kevin's face; he always sat and listened when we were in conversation. He promised me, no matter what that he would get his DEGREE and not get swallowed up by the hype of being a football player. He kept his promise, and I always celebrated that achievement for him in my heart and soul. Kevin has a very special place in our memories.

He is with God now; One day, we shall see him again. Our prayers are with you, Chris and Denise and...

I'm so sorry about the passing of Kevin. I've been thinking about you and your family. It hasn't been the same at work without you to talk sports with. Take the time you need but know you have many friends at Milestones who are keeping you in their prayers.
